Owner/Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Jessica is a passionate and dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of invaluable experience in healthcare. She is currently working towards a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. As a provider, she is committed to delivering exceptional psychiatric care.

Her journey in healthcare began in the fast-paced world of critical care, where she sharpened her clinical acumen and cultivated a deep sense of responsibility for patient well-being. These formative years instilled a commitment to excellence, which she carries into her psychiatric practice today.

Her journey took a turn when she became a visiting nurse, where she focused on patients with mental health needs. This experience underscored the vital role of mental health in overall well-being, inspiring her transition to the field of psychiatric nursing. It was a pivot in her career that she has never looked back from.

Today, she is proud to be a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, specializing in the care of children and adolescents. She continues to work in a Youth Crisis Stabilization Unit, and while challenging, has been profoundly rewarding. It has taught her the value of patience, the power of active listening, and the art of creating a safe and nurturing environment for those at their most vulnerable. Witnessing the resilience of young minds and the transformative potential of mental health care has only deepened her commitment to this field.

Additionally, she works with patients across the lifespan in a community clinic setting, which has broadened her scope of practice. This diverse experience has reaffirmed her belief in the universality of mental health and the potential for growth and healing in every individual.

She aspires to become a leader in psychiatric nursing, with a focus on patient-centered care and the translation of research into practical, effective solutions. Her background, experience, and passion for psychiatric nursing have brought her to this pivotal moment. She aims to empower lives through compassionate care, creating a brighter, more hopeful future for those in need of mental health support.
